His body is chiseled with very little body fat. He has dark brown colored hair and brown eyes and is usually fairly tan, despite the fact that he spends most of his time aboard starships. |

| General Overview | Aidan is a no nonsense type of guy. He is very serious when it comes to his work and his orders. He expects the most from those under him and his disappointment is palpable when things go wrong. He is dedicated to his mission with a fierceness that some even consider cold. Outside of work he is laid back and relatively easy to get along with. Despite his easy going nature he does have a very strong personality and can sometimes butt heads with authority over what he sees as cut and dry or simple choices. |

| Hobbies & Interests | Aidan is completely obsessed with working out and honing his marksman skills. When he’s not working out or shooting things he likes to read, draw and paint. He had a special interest in weapons and their range and abilities. His interest in them has pushed him to stretch his Engineering skills, at least when it comes to weapons. He is capable of quite a few modifications that improve range and power. He enjoys competition, especially when it involves strength and prowess. |
| Personal History | Aidan was born in Seattle, Washington on April 20th, 2359. He is the only son of Frederick and Kayla Merrick. Father is also military, as were many other people on his father’s side of the family. His mother is a housewife. Growing up was pretty normal for Aidan. With a military parent, the home was strict and respect was expected. Adian did well in school and even though he wasn't valedictorian, he did graduate in the top 10% of his class. Once he had graduated he went directly into the military, per his father's wishes. Boot camp was also uneventful, although, even there, Aidan was praised for his intuition and leadership skills. His go-getter attitude and dedication earned him the respect of his peers and instructors. Aidan was also very good at motivating his peers and would spend extra time with anyone who lagged behind. After basic training, Aidan attended Starfleet Marine Corps Academy. His training at the Academy brought Adian’s skill set to the surface. One again, he was not valedictorian but still in the top 10%. His instructors both loved and hated him. Aidan was smart and clever with problem solving, but he had a tendency to be confrontational and aggressive. It was also here, that he began to hone his marksman skills. He was often singled out for specific marksman training. After school, Aidan served as a marksman and a sniper. Because of his obvious skill at hitting his target he received speciality training. He served several times as the designated marksman of his squad. In all of his competitions he received expert marks in his division. Two things developed around the fact that his middle name is actually Cosmo (his paternal grandfather’s first name). He became known for being able to hit his target from an impressive distance, thus shooting them from the cosmos or out of the cosmos, and that you had to be one with the cosmo to shoot a weapon with the steady hands of a surgeon. |
