Message in a bottle

Mission: Operation: Trail of Tears

ON:

Grol headed towards the Intel office. He knew that Baciami would be working on the message and a few other things so he didn't want to take up her time but as a favour to Eyelaya and with the prompting of Stillwater he was on his way to see her with the little device that would let her boyfriend send a message to his family.

Adrianna looked up to her door as it chimed, "enter."

"Hello Ms. Baciami, I have something for you," Grol said entering.

Adrianna smiled, "hi Grol. A gift? What's the occasion?" She gestured to the seat opposite.

"Not so much a gift." He held up a device. "Eyelaya calls it a message in a bottle. She says you asked for it."

"Oh, that's great," Adrianna nodded, "thank you for brining it down."

"No problem. She said that it was important for you and your...fiancée."

Adrianna thought it was a bit odd that Grol was sticking around. She didn't have a relationship of any kind with him other that work colleagues. She replied politely though, "yes, Eberhardt has opportunity to send a message home to Ekos."

"Indeed." He sighed. "He will need to record the message and then return it to Eyelaya. She has made it so that it can be a visual message. Do you know how to set it up?"

"I can take some assumptions that it is like usual video recording devices," Adrianna replied, "are you alright? The sigh suggest otherwise."

"I am fine. It's not so much like a video recording device." He walked over. "If you press the green button set it on a table it will hover and then begin recording. It scans a holo of the person. When it's done you have to leave it for a day and then take it to Eyelaya for transport.

Adrianna nodded, making a mental note, "appreciate the instructions. No trace back to Starfleet, right?"

"No. Once Eyelaya gets the okay from Stillwater she'll send it."

"That's great, thank you," she replied, "I've hit a meeting with him this week."

"Indeed." Grol gave a nod. "Well thank you. I should head back. The commander is....in a bit of a snit today. Some dream about being sucked out of an air lock."

Adrianna went rather pale. "Oh," was all she could manage.

"Well then. Thank you for your time." He gave a small bow and headed out.

The dream? Is it possible it could be shared. That would mean it was a dream for him, but nightmare for her. Could Soral be capable? Adrianna came to her senses and replied properly, "Uh, yes, thank you again."
