The leaning Sister Lali watched as Soral stayed kneeling at the alter of the old Romulan gods. They were in fact the same as the old Vulcan gods with their names changed just for culture's sake. It had been the same on old Earth with the ancient Greek and Roman societies.

As she entered she noted that when she'd entered Soral's head had turned slightly. "Apologies for disturbig your peace brother."

He bowed and then stood. Turning to face Lali he bowed again. "Jolan Tru." He paused. "Doctor Rose and the Ensign?"

"Both are with the sisters treating people. They wanted to get started tonight. You are perhaps being hard on your Ensign. She has her view. It is not your own. You blame the Federation fully but she recognizes that we, too, have blame."

He said nothing for a long time and then spoke again, this time dropping Federation Standard and speaking only Romulan, a language he knew as good as his own Vulcan one.

"I have broguht a gift as an offering."

"Indeed. What is that gift child of the gods?"

Soral walked over to his bag and pulled out a little bundle carefully wrapped. He presendted it to the nun.

"Thank you."

She unwrapped the package and looked over the contents. "Surak."

"Indeed. I wished him a home here. Perhaps not a god but teacher."

"As you are so fond of saying, Indeed. I welcome him."
She studied him and then switched to standard Federation. "Ever the advocate of reconcilliation." She walked over and placed Surak's statue on the alter. She lit a candle and bowed. "Welcome Surak. We are a people full of passion and logic tempers uncontrolled passion. May we always strive for balance."

She turned to Soral. "Come. There is someone who wishes to meet you, one of the sisters. She said she was on the Kali-fal when your ship came to aid all those years ago. She has told me quite a tale."

Soral stiffened. "Did she?"

Lali smiled, "Indeed. But that will keep for another day."

Soral suddenly felt tired. "Perhaps I can skip the meeting tonight. I wish to ... see the city."

"Of course. I can get one of the..."

Soral waived his hand. "That's alright. I am sure I shall be welcome. The ears always are."

Lali laughed. "Well alright but be careful. If someone thinks you are Starfleet it may not be that friendly."

He gave a nod. "Until later then."

He bowed and gave the standard goodbye heading to the shuttle to pick up his pack and some credits. He wanted to shop of Alex here while he poked around to see if anyone had seen Stillwater or knows anything about him.
