On the cruiser, Adrianna looked around. It was good to be in luxury for a change. If she were to be in this situation, it would normal be for a high profile informant. That said, since this was a mission whereby she had to look relaxed, Adrianna found herself with a PaDD and a crossword. Because why the hell not. The seat she was in overlooked quite a vast area, so it would be easy enough to multi-task.

The group had arraigned to meet for drinks but right now Soral had done a quick walk through of the areas. He entered the rec area and spotted Adrianna there. He debated if he should go. Finally, it won out. He went and sat down. "The ship thus far is secure."

She mulled over her PaDD, making up one of the crossword clues, "five-letter word for fed-up and the feeling of not having your brain stimulated." Adrianna then looked up, "the only thing questionable is how much the bartenders are ripping off their customers. They aren't putting full measures in - they are only tipping straws."

"It is so with any so called resort or cruise." He drank his club soda and looked around.

"My father used to take us on these things," she replied, "I remember being equally as bored then. Though, that said, I can almost guarantee an intriguing game of poker with oddities as stakes in one of the private rooms. Perhaps even old acquaintances on board." Adrianna chuckled and sipped her virgin cocktail.

"mhm." He said as his eyes roamed the crowd. "These things are illogical. There is no use to them."

Adrianna nodded, "I agree. Want to play a game? Helps pass the time. Let's face it, if you're going to doing anything stupid, it would be when everyone is either drunk or tired."

He looked at her. "Game?"

Adrianna nodded, "when we were younger and stuck in crowded places, we used to play this game whereby you pick out a stranger and guess what they do for a living. You'll never know the actual answer, but sometimes it can be fun."

"I see." He shrugged. "Very well. Please go first." He did have the urge to ask the point of the game but he could see a benefit to it. He would speak to the captain of the cruiser later about who these people were to see how right they got it.

"There's a woman at the booth on our left. She's blond and in a blue dress. I thought she had OCD as she's doing everything in threes, but if you note, she's doing it in time to the music which has a similar tempo to an old Earth waltz. For that reason, I would suggest she was a music teacher - she looks aged enough to have had to put up with children." Adrianna began, "what do you think the man opposite her did?"

He resisted he urge to say 'I do not have enough information' "He is tall and elderly. He looks to have rough hands that have seen years of engineering. He seems more fascinated with the holo music group but not the music more so the projectors. He had a resigned look on his face and perhaps he was made to retire before he thought he was ready."

"Poor guy," Adrianna commented, "Ok, soo..." she looked around, "the young guy at the bar in the kaftan. He looks eccentric. Hmm, I'll go with he doesn't work, but lives off of mummy and daddy's money. That said, he's also eccentric enough to be a collector of sorts. Maybe an art dealer."

"Or he could be a diplomat. I find they are often entitled."

Adrianna snorted, "oh gawd, si - yes, that is so true. I met this one guy, I think he was a diplomat for Earth. We were sorting his contract with the actual family business - grappa. He questioned whether or not we'd be willing to add some 'flair' to our traditional bottling. He was genuinely considering dropping the contract unless the bottle was pink and glittery."

"Indeed. I once neck pinched one from sheer frustration. He didn't remember, I kept my job."

"Drunk or just too uninterested in actual matters?" Adrianna looked impressed.

"He was praising himself and his negotiating skills to the point that the Klingons were about to change their minds. When I knocked him out they signed. I'd say they liked my technique."

"I'd say that's the best negotiation tactic," she chuckled, "nothing quite like getting rid of the problem."

He gave a nod. He wondered if the woman was still offended by him. He had tried to speak honestly with her but perhaps she did no wish it. He was still figuring out the passions of humans. It would be a life long task.

"Listen, before the others inevitably join us out of boredom," she sighed, "I wanted to apologise for my outburst the other day. I'm Italian and a woman - two things against me in terms of temper. I'm not saying you were right, but I am saying that I am working on it, and have been for a long time. Oh - also, ignore the wager. Might have found someone."

Soral gave a nod. "Mr. Leopold?"

She offered a small smile and a nod, "si."

"He was top of my list. I was trying to figure out a way to introduce you."

"We met on the base, really hit it off," the Italian smiled, "just waiting on a call for date three. Who knows."

He looked up as the others started filing in.

Adrianna's eyes followed his, before smirking and changing back to their original game, "see now, those people, I'd say could be security, but I'd bet money on them being in a dance troop, maybe even ballet or can-can."
