Severine knocked on T'Mari's door. It was two days before they were to leave. She had had invited Liviana too saying it was urgent. She needed to speak with both aunts for this.

T’Mari stood and walked over to the door, she hadn’t been expecting anyone but was pleasantly surprised to see Severine at the door. “Severine, please come in.”

The young girl floated into the room. She had an old world Vulcan grace to her. "Liviana will join us shortly."

Just as she said it Liviana entered. She sighed. "Severine!" That girl was always scheming.

Severine looked at the two women. "I have something to say to both of you."

T’Mari looked at Liviana then at Severine. “How’s about we all sit down and you can tell us what you want to say.”

Liviana had resigned herself to her nieces eccentricities a long time ago. She sat down and waited for T'Mari to do so. She looked wearily at her half sister.

T’Mari took a seat next to Liviana and looked at Severine. “What is it you want to say?”

"I am not going with you to Father's wedding."

Liviana stood. "Of course you are not! I cannot believe you asked her after I forbade it." She turned to T'Mari.

Severine raised her voice. "Enough! You are going with her."

T’Mari looked surprised at the sheer gaul of young Severine, yet what she was suggesting was a good idea.

"T'Vet spoke to me."

Liviana rolled her eyes. "Oh not this again."

Undeterred Severine continued, "You, aunt Liviana, will go with your sister. You will speak to your brother. You will tell him of yourself and his heritage but nothing more. Our time for him to know us has not yet come." She raised her chin and in that instant seemed far more ancient then her age.

“You are so much wiser than your young years Severine” T’Mari nodded. “What do you say Liviana? Will you accompany me to Vulcan? To finally face Soral?”

Before she could say anything the door opened. Lali walked in. "Liviana there you are. I have been trying to find you all day. You are needed.

"I..."

Severine once again jumped in. "Liviana will be going with T'Mari to meet my father. I will stay here for now."

Lali looked at the girl. "Another dream?"

"Indeed."

"But..."

Lali paid no attention to Liviana's protests. "Come on you are needed." She all but pulled the woman out amused at it all. She left Severine and T'Mari alone.

“Dream?” T’Mari looked at Severine. “Or is it more like vision?” She had heard of ancient prophets who had visions. Was it possible young Severine had inherited ancient gifts?

"Both," She calmly said. "It is difficult to explain." She sat down. "I have always seen things, known things. I have felt of this world yet not."

T’Mari nodded. “I’ve read of ancient prophets but up until now I’ve never really believed in them.” She gazed at Severine. “Tell me what you see Severine, will my brother ... your father be happy? Doing this isn’t going to bring about catastrophe for Soral is it?”

"That path has always been unclear." She paused. "I just know that now is not his time to know us but he must know his sister. It will not be easy for him to accept this news and he may reject it." She shrugged. "His path has always been difficult." She paused. "In a way it mirrors my own. As you see my brother is all Romulan like Liviana. I am Vulcan like my father. I know that I am meant to be on Vulcan soon and there I will follow the path of the ancients."

T’Mari nodded. “You have a path so follow it, I will always be there for you no matter what. As for Soral, I will do what I must to get him out of his arranged marriage.”

She stood. "Well. I shall leave you then." She stopped, turned, and looked at T'Mari. "Do... you have an image of my father?"

T’Mari nodded. “I just happen to ...” She looked for her bag, then rifled through before pulling out a small PADD containing a holo image. “Here ... you can keep it.”

She activated the image. "I look like him." She observed. "Will you tell me about him?"

T’Mari nodded. “I would be honoured to Severine, there’s plenty of stories I can tell you.” She patted the seat. “Make yourself comfortable.”

Severine turned back and walked over to her aunt sitting down and listening as T'Mari spoke to her of her father and his life.
