Having left Alex to her privacy after giving what energy she had T’Lanna made her way towards Sickbay. She had a lovely headache after use of her Telepathy to boost Alex’s connection to Soral. She made it as far as the door before finally collapsing into the open arms of Kay’la, who was just passing at the opportune moment.

“Doctor Rose!” Kay’la gently placed T’Lanna down onto the floor resting her head on her knees.

Ryan heard the need in Kay'la's voice and turned quickly from his consult with another nurse. He quickly made his way over. "What happen?"

“I was just passing and she stumbled through the doors.” Kay’la looked at Ryan. “Good job I was or she’d have been flat on her face.”

Ryan did a quick scan right there on the floor, but when he saw there was no physical injury, he scooped T'Lanna up and carried her to the closest biobed. "She's overexerted herself." Ryan pushed some hair off T'Lanna face, clearing a spot on her temple. "Could you get me a cortical monitor please."

Kay’la nodded and headed over to the medical supply and picked up a cortical monitor. Walking back over to the biobed she handed it to Ryan before looking at the biobed readouts. “Readouts for both T’Lanna and her baby are stable.”

Ryan breathed out a sigh of relief as he placed the monitor at T'Lanna's temple. "I feel like I need to order everybody a trip to Risa and some relaxation."

Kay’la grinned, which for someone who looked Klingon seemed a little odd. “I take it the Counsellor is a tough cookie? I have yet to meet one who wasn’t always on the go trying to help others.”

Ryan nodded in agreement. "I don't think we need to give her a telepathy blocker. Some electrolytes and some rest."

Kay’la nodded, her attention turned back to T’Lanna as she slowly started to come round. “Looks like she’s waking up.”

T’Lanna slowly opened her eyes, she had a lovely headache which was her own fault for overexerting herself. “Don’t tell me ... I hit the deck didn’t I?” She looked apologetically at Ryan.

"Nope, just swooned like a Victorian maiden and had to be caught." Ryan smiled. "Kay'la was kind enough to keep you from getting a nice goose egg." He offered her an electolyte solution."Drink that." and then "Something for the headache?" He asked.

“How did you know?” T’Lanna smiled as she slowly sat up enough to take and sip the drink Ryan was offering. Taking it from his hand she slowly drank it before lying back down again.

Ryan just patted her hand with a smile, and gave her something mild and safe for the baby, but it should help with the headache. "You need to rest T'Lanna."

“I know” She yawned. “I couldn’t just stand there and watch Alex ... I linked with her, to give her the boost she needed to hold onto Soral. She’s not a telepath ... I just wanted to help.”

Ryan nodded. "I understand. But that took a lot out of you. You need to recharge. What are you working on now? Let me help."

“Err ...” She paused to think. “There’s some new crew evaluations to be done, personnel files to be updated from my session notes, take your pick.”

"The file updates can wait. I can take care of the evaluations, if I find anything acute, I'll let you know."

T’Lanna nodded and offered a smile. “Thank you Ryan, you spoil me you really do!” She looked to Kay’la. “Thank you for catching me."

“All part of the service” Kay’la offered a smile.

Ryan smiled as well then looked at T'Lanna. "I'll walk you home."

“That would be great, thank you Ryan. No offence but I’d rather be in my own bed than spending a night on these hard biobeds!”

"None taken." Ryan just grinned, then he turned to Kay'la. "I'll be back in a few."

Kay’la nodded and smiled. “Of course, take as long as you need.”

T’Lanna smiled as she slowly sat up and looked at Kay’la, she slowly slid down off the biobed ready to head back to her quarters with Ryan.
