A romantic evening in

{ON}

It had felt like a very long day as T’Lanna settled down on the sofa. As much as she was tired she was looking forward to seeing Raith again, she’d sent him a message asking him if he’d like to join her for a movie. She’d spent the last few minutes getting the cosy faux fur blanket she liked to put on the sofa along with matching faux fur cushions. Plus she’d also replicated some popcorn and drinks to add to the whole movie night experience. Now all they had to do, once Raith arrived was choose a movie.

Having finished his current shift, Raith had made his way to his quarters and decided that it was time to relax a little. He'd seen so much happen both onboard the Fontana and also aboard the shuttle and with meeting T'Lanna and starting the relationship they way they had. He almost felt like he needed a breath of fresh air for a moment.

As he finished getting changed, he saw a message from her, inviting him for a movie night and for a moment, Raith decided that he was going to go. A nice quiet movie night in and also taking the chance to relax in what seemed to be a busy assignment so far for him, both personally and professionally. He made his way down the corridor and headed towards T'Lanna's quarters where he pressed the chime to enter.

T’Lanna looked towards the door. “Come in” She smiled warmly as the door opened, hoping Raith would like her choice of dress. It complimented her figure yet wasn’t too daring, yet daring enough to get Raith’s attention.

Raith walked in and saw that T'Lanna has already prepared the front room, taking notice of the various faux fur blankets and also the matching faux fur cushions as well. Then he saw T'Lanna and noticed that she wasn't in uniform but in her civvies, which seemed to be a choice that took his notice right away and without fail. He admired her for a moment before saying "Hi, did I miss the start or are you waiting for lil' ol' me?"

“Oh I thought I’d wait for little ol’ you!” T’Lanna smiled warmly. “I got everything ready, popcorn, drinks, me..” She gently took his hand and nodded towards the sofa. “Want to help me choose a movie?”

Raith took her hand and smiled as he felt her warm skin against his. He then took her other hand and pulled her gently towards him to give T'Lanna a gentle but passionate kiss. "Yes, I'd love to help you choose a movie," he said after gently breaking the kiss and standing back to admire her. "Do you always dress this way to relax?" Raith asked.

T’Lanna took a deep breath, the kiss had been an enjoyable one that if she responded to right away certainly wouldn’t give them a chance to watch a movie. “Actually...no.” She smiled. “I thought you’d like this dress, and I wanted to impress you.”

Raith smiled as he walked around T'Lanna and realized that she truly did look beautiful. "Consider me impressed," he said as he took in her beauty for such a cosy date night. "So what movies did you have in mind? I'm impressed that you sorted out everything already before my arrival," he asked.

“Actually I’m not sure! Maybe an action/adventure or there’s plenty more to choose from. What do you like?” T’Lanna looked at Raith curiously.

"Action and adventure... didn't we do that last time... or on the Away mission," Raith joked as he had a think about what he wanted to watch. He was also trying not to be distracted by the dress that T'Lanna was wearing as well, he really was a lucky guy and he was starting to realize this.

"How about something science fiction... I always love to see how those plots work out in the end," he offered.

“Okay why not!” T’Lanna smiled and nodded. “I love sci-fi movies!”

"Excellent, that sounds like a plan then," Raith agreed as they headed towards the sofa. "So do you have a favourite movie you'd like to watch, I'm happy to go on your choice," he offered. Raith was keen to get to know more about T'Lanna since their relationship had started to fast in such unusual circumstances and he wanted to make sure that things continued well between them.

“I have plenty of favourites in a lot of genres. I love action, adventure, comedy, disaster, sci-fi and even cartoons!!” She grinned. “How’s about a true classic? Star Wars!”

Raith looked at her in shock as T'Lanni mentioned the one title that he had never watched. "Star Wars? Really? Do you have that one?" he asked, slightly nervous that she could be pulling his leg...or hopeful that she would later.

"I've never seen any of the Star Wars films... I've heard about them, but never been able to find a copy of any of them to watch..." he admitted.

“Really?” T’Lanna smiled. “Then you’re in for a treat, I have them as part of my collection. “They were originally released starting at Episode 4 but if you want we could start from Episode one?”

Raith made himself comfortable on the sofa. "Let's start at the beginning and see where we end up, shall we?" He offered.

“Sounds good to me.” T’Lanna smiled warmly. “Episode one coming right up!” She settled onto the sofa and organised the film choice having the computer play it for them. She tapped the sofa next to her for Raith to sit by her.

Raith moved over to the seat next to T'Lanna on the sofa and made himself comfortable next to her. He felt good to be with her and spending more time together, especially doing something they seemed to share an enjoyment of. "Then when your ready, press play..." he whispered.

T’Lanna smiled and pressed play before cuddling up against Raith draping his arm around her as they watched the film together. She had to admit she was paying more attention to just being with Raith than she was to watching the movie.

As the film started, Raith seemed glued to the screen, however, he soon found himself more focused on T'Lanna than the film. He made sure that his arm was comfortable around her and he was glad to be so close to her. "Are you comfortable?" he whispered as the film played.

T’Lanna smiled and nodded. “If I get any more comfortable then we won’t be doing much movie watching” She smiled a wry smile, given that his hand was hovering perilously close to the low neckline of her dress. “I get very easily distracted.”

Letting slip a sly grin, Raith let his hand slide up and down her neck gently. "Easily distracted eh? I never knew..." he whispered as he continued gently stroking the back of her neck. For a moment, he did take notice of the film.

"I like the idea of those robes that the... Jedi... wear. They look very practical and distinguished in that getup," he offered before slowly allowing his hand to slide down further from her neck and towards the low neckline of her dress.

"Maybe we could try one on for size one time, maybe the next time we watch another one of these films," he continued, carrying on his slow stroking around the low neckline.

T’Lanna was slowly melting into Raith’s gentle touch, he was doing a wonderful job of getting her attention and stoking a fire within that was growing by the minute. “I guess we could err....replicate one....sometime.” She smiled. “There’s a...certain bikini in the next film that I think you’d like.”

Raith stopped what he was doing for a moment as he looked at T'Lanna. Suddenly the idea of seeing her in a bikini was an interesting one and something he suddenly liked the idea of. "A Bikini in space...will wonders never cease..." he said before focusing back on the movie.

As the pace of the plot and the movie itself increased, Raith found himself returning to stroking her gently and he soon found that as good as the movie was and as much as he was enjoying it, he was starting to feel excitement build within him that wasn't relayed to the movie at all. Oh, he was enjoying it, there was no doubt, but he was also enjoying being in the company of his new partner just as much.

"Maybe we could dress up for the next one?" he offered quietly.

“Mmmm now that could be fun!” T’Lanna smiled as she gently pulled down Raith for a passionate kiss. “I think I’ve waited long enough for this!”

Raith enjoyed every moment of the kiss before they gently broke contact from each other for a moment. "You know the old Earth saying... All good things come to those who wait," he said with a grin. "Besides, I was also enjoying the film as much as the company."

Without any hesitation, he leaned in for another kiss and made sure that T'Lanna felt every moment of passion from him in this one. Pulling away once more, he looked into her eyes. "Besides, Movie nights are overrated anyway...especially during the first stages of a relationship between two people..." Reaching behind her, Raith slowly unzipped her dress, allowing the garment to hang loosely on her.

“Now you’re reading my mind!” T’Lanna smiled as she let the dress slide off her shoulders as she moved to help Raith out of his top. “Why don’t we take this in there...” She motioned towards the bedroom door.

Raith smiled as he let T'Lanna remove his top and he loved her idea of moving to the bedroom. Watching her stand up from the sofa and allow the dress to fall off her, Raith took her hand and led his lover to the bedroom. "Yes, let's take this to some familiar territory shall we?" he agreed as he guided her to the bedroom. He admired her naked form before him and was already glad he'd decided to come over.

As they reached the bedroom T’Lanna paused by the bed to kiss Raith with all the passion she had for him, before they both fell back onto the bed making T’Lanna giggle. “Dare I say this?” She looked up at Raith as she lay on the bed. “I love you Raith!”

Raith laughed as he undressed himself and lay naked beside her. As she declared how she felt for him, Raith already knew how he felt and T'Lanna's confirmation merely put the pieces together for him. "I love you too, T'Lanna," he said, kissing her gently on her forehead before holding her tight to him. "I can't imagine my life without you in it...how I coped..."

After his admission, he began kissing her neck, gently and slowly, making sure that he began to get T'Lanna excited as well, although he already knew she was there.

T’Lanna ran her fingers through Raith’s hair. She was going to enjoy every moment of their time together. “I don’t ever want to be without you Raith.”

Raith smiled as she ran her fingers through his hair, enjoying the feeling. "I'm going nowhere, I'm here, I'm yours and I will always be yours," he said, before moving on top of her and kissing her passionately. He held her face gently as they kissed.

T’Lanna let herself simply melt into Raith’s kisses, she was his and nothing was going to change that.
